KTRE 9 News in Lufkin is reporting that a Zavalla man who was captured and arrested in Arkansas for a murder that occurred earlier this year has now been extradited back to Angelina County. Jeremy Wayne Gladden, 41, is accused of killing 55-year-old Lawrence Jason Wise. He was shot to death and his body was found in a shed on his property in Zavalla on January 23rd. According to Angelina County Sheriff Tom Selman, Gladden stole the victim’s pickup truck and three days later he was spotted by law enforcement driving the truck in Johnson County, Arkansas and was captured after trying to flee from officers on foot.
