NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Police were called to a report of gunshots fired in Nacogdoches early Sunday, where they found one person in critical condition. Around 12:45 a.m., officers were sent to a private club in the 1600 block of East Main Street after several people reported hearing gunshots, according to Nacogdoches Police Lt. Brent Handy. A victim was identified and taken to a nearby hospital, where they are stable but in critical condition, Handy said as of about 1 p.m. The person’s name has not been released. No arrests have been made yet, but Handy said they are continuing to investigate.
