Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard says a woman went to jail on Sunday afternoon after a deputy responded to a complaint of her trespassing. It happened at about 3:30 on County Road 754 in the Buna area. Havard said the woman, 34-year-old Courtney Lisenby, of Buna, left the scene before the deputy arrived, but she was found a short time later riding a bicycle on County Road 726. According to Havard, the deputy found the woman in possession of methamphetamine so she was arrested and taken to the Jasper County Jail to be charged with state jail felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
