Woman missing from Center found in Juarez, Mexico

SHELBY COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A Center woman whose belongings arrived in Dallas on a Greyhound bus without her has been found in Mexico. In an update to their report on Facebook, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said that Alexis Calzada, 23, has been located in Juarez, Mexico. She has since been transported to El Paso where she is waiting to be reunited with family. Calzada, 23, was last seen in Sweetwater on Saturday at about 8:41 a.m., according to a release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. Her belongings arrived in Dallas on a bus over the weekend, but authorities said Calzada was not on the bus. She was wearing pink fuzzy slippers and carrying a mint green backpack when last seen. Calzada is described as 5′6″, 220 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. She has a tattoo on her left forearm with the name “Dub Coyle” surrounded by angel wings, authorities said.
