KVVP in Leesville is reporting that the Louisiana State Fire Marshall has been called in to assist in the investigation of a fire that resulted in a death in Beauregard Parish on Wednesday. The fire is reported to have occurred around noon at a camp trailer on Charlie Davis Road in the small community of Singer, which is located south of DeRidder. Firemen arrived to find the camper completely engulfed in flames and after the fire as out discovered the body of the deceased. The name of the victim has not been released pending formal identification and notification of next of kin.
