An early Sunday morning wildfire burned down a mobile home in Sabine County. Daily News & More is reporting that the Six Mile and Fairmount Fire Departments initially responded to the blaze at about 4:00 on Holiday Circle, just south of the Highway 87 Six Mile Bridge. The report said the fast spreading fire reached a mobile home and when firefighters arrived it was already fully engulfed. The Hemphill and Pineland Fire Departments were called in for assistance and all of the departments worked to stop the spread of the blaze as it was threatening other houses. There were no reports of injuries, nor any word on how the wildfire may have started.
