Both the Buna and Evadale Fire Departments responded to a house fire in the Gist Community in far southeast Jasper County late Sunday morning. The blaze was reported shortly before 11:00 at a one-story wood frame house on County Roads 823, about 10 miles south of Buna. No other details are known.
