Wanted man found with a woman and both in possession of meth

The Tyler County Sheriff’s Department says a man who was wanted for multiple crimes was found with a woman on Thursday night, and now both are in jail under numerous criminal charges. Sheriff Bryan Weatherford said his department received information that Roy Kendrick, IV was at a residence in the Fred Community, and when deputies went there to look for him, a car began leaving. When deputies stopped the car, they found Kendrick in the passenger seat and Brandi Nicholle Brown was driving. Inside the car, Weatherford said deputies found a container and inside was multiple baggies of methamphetamine.

Roy Kendrick, IV was charged with the following crimes:

2 counts of Tampering with Identification Numbers

1 count of criminal trespassing

1 count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)

1 count of Burglary of a Building

1 count of Theft of Property (with previous convictions)

4 counts of Burglary of a Vehicle

His bond was set at $222,000.00

Brandi Nicholle Brown was charged with the following crimes:

1 count of Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution

1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine)

1 count of Driving While License Suspended

Her bond was set at $70,000.00
