One person is dead and two others are injured after three pickup trucks collided in Polk County on Thursday afternoon. Polk County Today is reporting that emergency crews responded to the crash shortly after 2:00 on Highway 190 in Onalaska. Investigating troopers said that Joan Roach, 59, of Onalaska, was driving a GMC Sierra and she was stopped and waiting for traffic to pass so that she could make a left turn. She was hit from behind by a Dodge Ram, driven by Lena Dickerson, 25, also of Onalaska. Roach’s truck then went into the opposite lane where it was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Phillip Wilkinson, 65, of Splendora. Roach was pronounced dead at the scene, while Dickerson and Wilkinson were both transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital for treatment.
