A Jasper County deputy found and arrested a wanted man near Buna early Monday morning. According to the report, 20-year-old Briar Brister, of Buna, was located in Cougar Country. He was named in warrants for failure to appear in court to answer for previous crimes. The report said the deputy discovered methamphetamine, so on top of his warrants he was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
