The Jasper County Sheriff's Department says a wanted man was captured after he fled on foot and tried to hide from a deputy.
The report said it happened shortly before 4:00 Sunday morning when the deputy saw the man walking on County Road 773 near Buna. The report said he ran and then tried to hide under a house.
The deputy arrested 25-year-old Tyler Payne, who had warrants in Hardin County on charges of Motion to Revoke Probation on an original charge of Criminal Trespass, Theft of Property, and Failure to Appear.
