A Vidor man who was found in possession of more than 34,000 child pornography images is going to federal prison.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Easter District of Texas has announced that 54-year-old David Dwayne Parker entered a guilty plea on a charge of Transportation of Child Pornography and U.S. District Judge Marcia Crone imposed a 15 year and 8 month sentence.
Federal prosecutors said in April of 2024 law enforcement received information that more than 1,600 files involving child pornography had passed through Parker’s computer, and the execution of a search warrant revealed more than 34,000 files in both his computer and cell phone.
Parker will be 70-years-old when he is released from prison.
