Three people were killed in a Friday evening helicopter crash in Calcasieu Parish. It happened about 10 miles northeast of Lake Charles. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Stitch Guillory says a man, woman, and a toddler died. They've been identified as Jared Savant, 50, his wife Tanya Savant, 35, and their 2-year-old child, all of Kinder. The Federal Aviation Administration has been called in to investigate the cause of the crash.
