BOWIE COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - (Editor’s note: DPS initially reported that Jason Foster’s age was 56. They have since corrected his age to 46, and this story reflects that change.) A Tyler man has died in a two-vehicle crash in Bowie County. According to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened on U.S. Highway 59, about four miles south of Texarkana on Tuesday night around 9:53 p.m. The report states that a 2024 Kia Telluride driven by Natasha Brewer, 48, of Texarkana, was traveling southbound on Highway 59 when the vehicle crossed over into the northbound lane and crashed into a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The driver of the Tahoe, Jason L. Foster, 46, of Tyler, and Brewer, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
