Beaumont Police investigate two homicides and another death in a matter of hours

Beaumont police are investigating two homicides and another death which all occurred within a matter of hours. Officer Carol Riley tells KFDM/Fox 4 News that police have no reason to believe the homicides are connected. Police were already investigating a homicide linked to a shooting death on Magnolia near Isla and a possible homicide on Broadway after a man's body was found in a home. The third homicide began as a shots fired investigation at about 8:30 Tuesday night in the 4100 block of Chaison near Lavaca. That's in southeast Beaumont not far from Avenue A. Detectives and crime scene investigators gathered evidence and searched for witnesses. One neighbor told our KFDM/Fox 4 photographer at the scene that he heard shots fired in the area Monday night. We're waiting for information about the victim and any possible suspects.
