The East End Fire Department was called out early Tuesday morning to a report of a travel trailer on fire. It happened shortly before 7:00 on County Road 293, commonly known as Steer Stadium Road, just east of Jasper. Firefighters say the flames were already out upon their arrival, and damage was limited to the living area of the RV. No one was in the travel trailer and there were no injuries. Meanwhile, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department says the fire is believed to be a case of arson and the investigation continues.
