Sunday will make 37 years since Bambi Brantley was last seen in Vernon Parish. The 26-year-old vanished on Wednesday, October 22nd, 1986. She was last seen walking alongside LA Highway 8 just west of Leesville. Investigators at the time said evidence showed that Bambi walked to her mobile home in a nearby trailer park, and then disappeared from there. This was because she purchased a fountain drink at the store, and that fountain drink was found inside her house. Now, nearly four decades later, the family still has no answers.
