The Hardin County Sheriff's Office has talked a suspect into surrendering peacefully after they tried to serve a felony warrant and he ran inside a home with a gun, according to information Sheriff Mark Davis provided to KFDM News.

Sheriff Davis identifies the suspect as Bo Holder. The booking photo he sent is from a 2023 arrest.

The sheriff says HCSO attempted to serve the felony warrant early Tuesday afternoon on Josey Lane, northwest of Silsbee between FM 418 and Fresenius Road.

Holder ran inside the home with a gun when he saw deputies arrive.

Sheriff Davis says the suspect refused to come out or surrender.

Negotiators were able to get him to surrender shortly after 3:00 pm.
