SHREVEPORT, La. (July 30, 2026) — Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday morning in the 6000 block of Buncombe Road.
Police said a 24-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle beneath a carport outside his apartment in the Fox Crossing neighborhood when another vehicle approached.
The suspect reportedly fired three shots into the victim's vehicle, striking him in the right thigh.
The victim later arrived at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport in a private vehicle and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have not released a description of the suspect.
