RUSTON, La. - A softball game between Benton High School and Ruston High School at the Ruston Sports Complex was stopped Tuesday night after shots were fired in the area. According to Ruston athletic director, Jerrod Baugh, six Ruston Police Department units showed up, inspected the scene, and found one of the bullets grazed the Benton dugout. No one was injured and the police gave the go ahead to resume the game. The Ruston Police Department is still investigating.
