A Jasper County jury on Tuesday afternoon found 59-year-old Anthony DeWayne Riley guilty of the August 15th, 2023, aggravated robbery of the Family Dollar store on Highway 96 in Kirbyville. The jury also handed down a 35-year prison sentence. Testimony began on Monday afternoon with Jasper District Attorney Anne Pickle prosecuting, and Riley was represented by Center attorney Stephen Shires. The case was tried before District Judge Craig Mixson.
