Jasper Mayor Anderson Land says it was a problem at the Jason Sub-Station which resulted in a power outage that lasted for just over 2 hours on Sunday morning. About half of the city, mostly in the east and north side of town, was without power when the lights went out at about 7:20. A City of Jasper electrical work crew was able to get power restored at about 9:35.
