Orange Police say a man assaulted two officers during a drug raid on Wednesday. Police say they served an evidentiary search warrant at a home on Schley Street, and during that operation 37-year-old Lawrence Hardin assaulted the two before they were able to take him into custody. Police say they found more than a half-pound of cocaine and fentanyl, along with other drugs and firearms. Hardin has been charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, two counts of Assault on a Public Servant, and Driving with an Invalid License. His bond has been set at a combined total of $525,500.00.
