Funeral services for Durwood Hooper will be held at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2023, officiated by Pastor Michael Dickerson of First United Pentecostal Church of San Augustine, assisted by Bro. Burton Holt. Interment will follow at Old Sardis Cemetery in San Augustine County. Visitation will be held at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023. Visitation for Mr. Joseph Wesley "Joey" Smith will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Chireno Baptist Church, located at 141 New Camp Road off FM 95 in Chireno, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Chireno Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Belgard officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at the Lower Chireno Cemetery.
