One person was at last word undergoing treatment following a two vehicle auto accident that occurred shortly after 8:00 on Tuesday morning in front of the Jasper County Airport on Highway 190, west of Jasper.
Witnesses said it appeared that a large dump truck owned and operated by Jasper County Precinct 2 Road and Bridge was headed east on Highway 190, when a Kia sedan which was also eastbound, slammed into the rear of the truck.
The driver of the passenger car was treated at the scene and then transported to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital for additional treatment. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
State Troopers are investigating the crash.
