One person was killed and four others were injured in an early Monday evening crash in Silsbee. It happened shortly after 5:00 on Highway 327 on the west side of Silsbee.
Police Chief Shawn Blackwell said a 2014 Jeep Cherokee was westbound and slowed to turn into a driveway and was hit from behind by a 2013 Chevrolet pickup truck.
Two adults and three juveniles were in the Jeep Cherokee. They were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where one of them died.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
