No serious injuries occurred in a two-vehicle accident that occurred shortly before 11:00 Friday evening on Farm to Market Road 252 at the intersection of County Road 502, about two miles south of Erin. A Jeep sport utility vehicle collided with a Ford pickup truck at the entrance to the Whispering Grove Faire, causing the truck to leave the highway and go to into a wooded area on the west side of the roadway. The volunteers of the Tri-Community Fire Department and other emergency personnel responded to the crash. The names of individuals involved in the crash and other information has not been released, pending further investigation of the incident.
