No injuries were reported to have occurred when two vehicles collided on Monday evening in front of Lake Area Chevrolet in the 2100 block of North Wheeler Street here in Jasper. Police, firemen and other emergency crews were dispatched to the location shortly after 6:00, when it was reported that the accident involving an eighteen wheeled tractor trailer truck and an early model Chevrolet pickup truck had occurred. What caused the accident is not known and at last word, police were still investigating the incident. However, the wreck occurred as rains were falling in the area. The large containers of sand, which the truck was hauling in connection with the oil field industry was not disturbed.
