Newton Police say theft occurred at a vape store

Newton Police Chief Will Jackson says his department is investigating a theft that occurred on Monday. According to Chief Jackson, two teenage males, each wearing backpacks, used their shirts to conceal their faces when they entered Vape-N-More at 604 Court Street. Jackson said the pair ran around the store grabbing various items and then fled on foot towards the west. According to Jackson, the investigation has revealed that the suspects may have fled the area in a black SUV which was parked behind Bob’s Pawn Shop. He also says it’s believed that the pair is from the Kirbyville area and students at Kirbyville High School. They have been described as white males, each approximately 5’07”, and one had long blond hair.
