Tavin Trevauyon Sells, 27, of Jasper, is one of two suspects in the Sunday, January 11th murder of 22-year-old Asia Marie Scott. She was shot at her birthday party in Newton and she died shortly after arrival at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Sells was released from the Newton County Jail on Wednesday under a $750,000.00 bond, and on Wednesday night he went to jail again.
Jasper Police arrested Sells shortly before 10:00 on charges of Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, and Driving While License Invalid with a Previous Conviction.
Sells was later released under a $30,000.00 bond.
