NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches police have arrested a man and woman after a three-year-old was hospitalized after eating THC gummies.
Jennifer Elaine Sanders, 40, and Zackery Cole Putman, 22, both of Nacogdoches, are each charged with endangering a child. Sanders is also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Nacogdoches police spokesman Lt. Brett Ayres said Sanders is the grandmother and Putman is the father of the child. Police responded to a call on Aug. 9 about a child suffering a medical emergency and took the child to a hospital.
An investigation revealed the child had eaten THC gummies and Sanders and Putman were arrested.
