State District Judge Racquel West in Jefferson County on Tuesday sentenced a man to four years in prison for assaulting an EMS worker. It happened in August of 2024 in an ambulance in Port Arthur as the paramedic was rendering aid to 34-year-old Christopher Kirk Faulk, of Katy.
Port Arthur Police said that Faulk was belligerent and he punched the paramedic multiple times.
The prosecution and defense reached a plea agreement on a charge of Assault of a Public Servant.
Faulk will be eligible for parole after serving only one year of the four year sentence.
