Mother, daughter killed in fatal Sunday night house fire in Lindale

LINDALE, Texas (KLTV) - A house fire that started late Sunday night in Lindale has left two people dead, according to officials. Lindale and Smith County firefighters responded to the fire around 10:18 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North College Street. Smith County Fire Marshal Chad Hogue has confirmed the death of two people who were inside the home at the time of the fire. Hogue confirmed their identities as Ruby Martinez, who would have turned 84 on March 20, and her daughter, Gloria Clark, 67. Pct. 4 Justice of the Peace Curtis Wulf confirmed the fatalities and ordered autopsies on both women.
