CADDO PARISH, La. - Around 2 p.m. on Sunday a massive forest fire in the Keithville's Pecan Farms Neighborhood broke out generating a large response from several Fire departments and law enforcement agencies. The fire started behind a home located in the 9600 block of Paula Street according to Caddo Fire District Four. At the scene firefighters found a large fire moving quickly through the woods due to high winds. Officials with Desoto Fire District two, Inter Community four, and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office provided aid for the fire. Approximately 100 acres have been affected by the fire so far. Officials say this event is on-going. Currently there are no homes immediately affected.
