Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard says a man who was wanted on a probation violation charge has been arrested.
Havard said a deputy made a traffic stop shortly before 9:00 Tuesday night on North Wheeler Street in Jasper and driving the vehicle was 24-year-old Jak Keith Ja Rod Lewis, of Jasper.
The original charge against Lewis was Robbery which occurred in Anderson County, southwest of Tyler.
He also had a traffic warrant through the Jasper Police Department.
Lewis was taken into custody and booked into the Jasper County Jail.
