- Funeral services for Lewis Edward Hetrick will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Old Paths Baptist Church in New Llano with Reverend Brandon Gill officiating. The burial with military honors will be held at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Old Paths Baptist Church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Lewis passed away February 27, 2026, in DeRidder, Louisiana at the age of 90.
- Glenda Farrell Goff, 89, of DeRidder, LA passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026. Her graveside service will be Friday, March 6 at 11am at Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene.
- Joseph Gulio Buoniconti, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6th at Holly Grove United Methodist Church in Anacoco at 11:00 am with Bro. Bill Moon officiating. Visitation will take place prior from 9:00 am until service time at the church. Burial will be at Holly Grove Cemetery located in Anacoco.
- Jerry Bolton, 80 years old, passed away March 1, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Funeral services for Jerry will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 3255 Belview Road, Leesville, LA 71446. The burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church today starting at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until the time of service on Friday.
- Betty Carolyn Gaskin Taylor, 77, of Anacoco, Louisiana, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Leesville, Louisiana. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM on March 7, 2026, at Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco, Louisiana.
- Kenneth Wayne Williamson, a loving husband, father and grandfather who left us on March 2, 2026, at the age of 68. A Celebration of Life service for Kenneth will take place at the Merryville Community Center on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
- Reginal Norris Fletcher, Jr., who left us on March 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Reggie's life with a funeral service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 am. There will be a public viewing prior to the service starting at 9:00 am that same day. Following the service, Reggie will be laid to rest at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
