Archived as originally published. Information reflects the date of this article.

Polk County Today is reporting that a man is undergoing hospital treatment after he was shot on the parking lot of a convenience store, and the suspect is in custody. It happened during the noon hour on Wednesday on Farm to Market Road 146, 1 mile southeast of Livingston. Investigators say an ongoing feud between the suspect and the victim culminated with the shooting. The report said law enforcement officers arrived very quickly and the suspect was still there and he was arrested and later charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. For an unknown reason, the names of the suspect and the victim have not yet been released.
