LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A Lake Charles man was sentenced to life in prison for killing a Westlake man during a 2023 armed robbery.
William Dennis, 27, and three others robbed Damarcus Ardoin, 25, and shot him in the head at his home, investigators said.
Dennis was found guilty of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice in January. Second-degree murder carries a mandatory life sentence without parole, and he also received 20 years for obstruction.
Kevin Williams of Eunice was also sentenced to life in Ardoin’s murder back in June. Another suspect, Justin Ned, remains jailed on charges including second-degree murder.
