The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department says a men who was already on probation for a felony drug crime has now been arrested in a theft case.
According to the report, on March 14th Sergeant Chris Wade began an investigation into a theft that occurred on County Road 190 in the Beech Grove Community. It was alleged that 38-year-old Jasper resident Jacoby Stephenson had stolen an item and then sold it to another person.
The report said the stolen item was found and an arrest warrant was issued on Stephenson.
He was taken into custody on Thursday and has been charged with Theft of Property.
