MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - Marshall officials say a Thursday raid found pounds of drugs along with a felon illegally possessing guns.
The search warrant was executed in the 700 block of Pamela Drive Thursday morning. The search, which the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office say was focused on narcotics, resulted in the arrest of Justin Alshun Jones, 38.
According to the release, the search found 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 71 grams of cocaine, $1,535 in cash, an AR-15 rifle and a handgun.
The search was conducted by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team and the Marshall Police Department Special Response Team.
Jones was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. He’s also being held on an Austin parole violation. His manufacture/delivery charge carries a bond of $100,000.
