A man drowned in the waters of Lake Nacogdoches over the weekend. Nacogdoches Police say emergency responders were called out shortly after 7:00 Saturday evening when it was reported that 37-year-old Caleb Arthurs, of Nacogdoches, went under water and never resurfaced. It was reported that it happened as Arthurs was swimming with family and friends. His body was recovered a few hours later, and a Justice of the Peace ordered an autopsy.
