Beaumont police are investigating the second murder of the year. Police say on Friday evening, 24-year-old Deshawndrey Bowman was found in a car with multiple gunshot wounds at the intersection of Brooklyn and Madison in the “Pear Orchard” section of town, just south of downtown. Bowman died early Monday morning at St Elizabeth Hospital. Detectives are working to develop a suspect in the case.
