The Orange County Sheriff's Department has arrested a man who they say interfered with a medical helicopter as it was trying to fly a patient to a hospital.

According to the report, deputies arrested Ned Reese, 64, of Orange, and he was charged with Interference with a Public Servant.

The report said the incident occurred on February 9th and the helicopter crew had a patient in urgent need of medical care. However, they were delayed in taking off because a drone was being flown above and around the helicopter.

The investigation identified Reese as flying the drone and causing the problem.
