POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A man was arrested in Polk County Wednesday on multiple drug and weapons charges after a 9-1-1 hang-up call led deputies to a residence on Rocky Creek Road.
Brandon Jilek faces charges, including manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and nine counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement made contact with Jilek at the residence. Following an investigation and interviews by narcotics detectives, probable cause was established to obtain a search warrant.
During the execution of the warrant, investigators found nine guns, body armor and a significant amount of methamphetamine, along with digital scales and plastic baggies.
Two of the firearms were previously reported stolen.
Jilek was booked into the Polk County Jail on charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, nine counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, unlawful possession of body armor by a felon, and two counts of theft of a firearm.
