LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Longview Police Department has detained after gunfire was exchanged in the city Wednesday afternoon.
Police say they responded at around 1 p.m. to the intersection of Lake Drive and Pine Street for a shots-fired call.
During the investigation, officers learned that two people were involved in a disturbance and it escalated into gunfire. Both parties shot at each other, police said.
No one was hit by the gunfire, and no injuries occurred. One person was detained. Police continue to investigate.
