LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - A Longview ISD bus was struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon. The driver was the only person on board the bus at the time, according to the district.
Skyler Hefley, Longview ISD Director of Communications, said that Bus 91 was struck at E. Young Street and the 500 block of Mobberly Avenue, just a few blocks from the bus barn and LISD administration building.
The driver of another vehicle had a medical emergency and hit the bus, Hefley said. EMS responded quickly and provided care for that driver. The bus driver was not injured.
