The volunteers of the Jasper Fire Department were dispatched to the Murphy USA Fuel Stop at the Walmart Store in the 800 block of West Gibson, shortly before 9:00, on Wednesday evening, when it was reported that a fuel spill had occurred.
Firemen said it appeared that as much as 40 gallons of gasoline might have been spilled as a tanker unloaded fuel at the location. However, no fire or injuries resulted from the incident.
