The potential theft of a fork truck and possibly other items was shut down shortly before 4:00 on Saturday afternoon when someone saw a man jump a fence at a local business and called 911.
Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard said officers from both his department and Japer Police were immediately dispatched the Texas Timber Jack near the intersection of Highway 190 and Farm to Market Road 777, across from the Jasper County Airport where they not only stopped the alleged theft but took a suspect into custody
The name of the suspect has not been released due to his age.
