Multiple fire departments were busy Wednesday afternoon battling a large fire at a manufacturing business in Silsbee. The blaze occurred at Clearstream Wastewater Systems on Old Evadale Road on the northeast side of town. The company manufactures fiberglass resin septic tanks. Silsbee firefighters were assisted by surrounding fire departments. Four firefighters suffered head exhaustion and were treated at a hospital. Two of them returned to the scene and continued fighting the fire. There’s no word yet on what caused the fire and so far no reports of injuries.
