The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office says a Kemp man was busted after an undercover operation.
According to the sheriff, Tommy Ray Taylor II, age 60, was the subject of an investigation that from May 20 through May 31. During the investigation, the sheriff’s office says he promoted child pornography to an undercover investigator with the Henderson County Crimes Against Children Task Force.
On June 4, a search warrant was issued by 392nd Judicial District Judge Scott McKee for Taylor’s home on Kim Road in Kemp. According to the sheriff’s office Taylor was found to have thousands of images and videos of child pornography, some on children under the age of one.
Taylor was arrested for possession of child porn and booked into the Henderson County Jail. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.
